Arts and Crafts Market
One of Austria’s most important arts and crafts markets attracts numerous handicrafts lovers to the “Old Town in the Mountains”. About 100 artisans, designers and artists from Austria, Germany and other neighbouring countries display and sell a great variety of exclusive handicrafts such as ceramics, jewellery, glassware, felt products, knitwear, embroidery, wooden bowls and much more. In addition, prizes for creative handicrafts, modern design, innovative product design and applied art are awarded by an expert jury. Every year, the “Zeughaus am Turm” hosts a special exhibition which opens on the eve of the market. Very original and high-quality fringe events including street theatre, walk acts, a merry-go-round and street musicians guarantee laughs and lots of fun!
