From stone pine to pumpkin seed oil
Judenburg – Bruck/Mur – Fürstenfeld

Tour information: 176 km / approx. 2.5 hours driving time

As many as five Small Historic Towns are located in Styria, four of them can be explored along this tour. The route starts in Judenburg, a medieval town situated amidst beautiful Swiss stone pine woodland, in the winter a relaxed family ski resort, then continues to Leoben. The Styrian hilly landscape characterises the route further on to our next destination, Bruck an der Mur. Surrounded by impressive mountains, the town harmoniously unites the mountains of Styria with urban life. Salt trade once made the town rich as attested to by its many beautiful historic buildings so characteristic of its townscape.  The trip continues on via Frohnleiten and Gleisdorf all the way to Fürstenfeld, a major spa capital that fascinates with its defensive wall system as well as the Pfeilburg Castle with numerous fountains to cool off in.
