Big Band Festival
The Big Band Workshop has become a fixed point in the cultural summer of Bad Radkersburg in recent years.
The workshop is suitable for musicians of all ages. You don’t have any experience in Jazz & Big Band yet? No problem! The workshop is aimed at all those who already play in a big band, as well as those who would like to make their first experiences in this genre. The level of the participants should not fall below the performance badge in bronze of the ÖBV or the intermediate level in music schools.
Announcement of the workshop for the following instruments: saxophone (soprano, alto, tenor, baritone), trumpet, trombone, piano, bass (electric bass & double bass), drums + percussion.

In addition to the workshop, there will again be the opportunity to attend concerts in the historic old town almost every day.
At the Big Band Festival, ambitious musicians from near and far will deliver the finest sounds. For those who have rhythm in their blood will feel right at home at the Bad Radkersburg Soul & Blues music workshops. Just like the listeners who are regularly thrilled by the open-air closing concert.

The program includes instrumental lessons, stage performance, composing, arranging, harmony and above all playing in an ensemble or band. The workshop participants have the opportunity to play in special units as part of the “Soul Gift Band” and thus make music with an internationally renowned band.
