Built 1449-1509, highest freestanding town tower in Austria (75.66 m), with viewing gallery. In 2006 selected as one of the Top 3 most popular buildings in Styria. New: since 2006 the town tower houses the most modern planetarium in Europe, high above the main square of Judenburg. With fascinating shows similar to Imax, experience the extraordinary here to awaken a fascination with the cosmos. The new glass panoramic lift is unique in the world: It leads directly through the belfry past the gigantic bells. For the sporty visitor, the 270 steps are still in use too.
