The hotel was only reopened in March 2001 after extensive renovation, which harmoniously combined the older fabric of the building with a modern interior. Visitors to the Hotel Schloss Gabelhofen are offered excellent cuisine and wine cellar, plus a variety of cultural and leisure facilities including golf, hunting, fly fishing, mountain biking, sports climbing etc. In our own health club (sauna, steam room, fitness, cosmetics and massage) guests can forget everyday life and immerse themselves in a world of relaxation. The art gallery hosts exhibitions all year round. The hotel is also often booked for weddings, meetings, seminars, conferences and presentations, held in the Business & Communications Centre extension, which accommodates up to 250 people.
